New Servers to Play With :)

Yay, on friday evening, I finally convinced my boss that we needed to shot of UK2’s rather poor excuse for a dedicated hosting environment.  As a result I recieved the login details for two brand spanking new Core2 Duo servers loaded with 2gb RAM each and 2x 250Gb HDD’s in RAID-1. (w00t) from Fido.net
Managed to get both of these for the sensational price of £74 a month each!  Am now proceeding with the rather tedious job of SCP’ing all our data and configs across before I do the DNS switchover later on today – wish me luch on that one :)

    Ooooo, new servers are fun. £74/pcm sounds a bit cheap for a dedicated box though – do you get spanked on the arse over bandwidth :)
