I’m planning to replace my PDA/phone pretty soon, so naturally I’ve been looking around at what’s available and what looks cool. I’ve always liked Nokias in the past, so I’ve been looking at the N series (N73 pictured).

They’re WCDMA (or ‘3G’ if you want to be stupid about it) so I can get decent speeds online when I’m not near wireless. I’m looking into how well they sync with Linux (evolution syncing would be nice) and how easy it is it set them up to share their network connection over bluetooth.
Anyone else seen these phones in the flesh (I haven’t got around to it yet) or have any other thoughts..?
I believe Eoin has an N series-?
I have an N-70
Great phone, sync’s with outlook and according to this thing called google, there’s a workaround for Evolution.
Bluetooth PAN work’s great and I can connect to the internet at 384kbps via bluetooth – that’s a right touch in anyone’s book :)
That N-73 looks rather nice, doesn’t it? I thought you would get a Mini-XD2 II tho? :|
I’ve fallen out with windows mobile – so I’m not really looking at the XDA line.
I’m planning to get a phone soon, then maybe buy a PDA of some kind in the future – if I think I need one.
Meh, PDA’s are pretty oldschool what with the “awsome power of phones” and all. I want to get one of those oragami / umpc things! :)
Mmmm, or a Nokia 770.
Looks like it costs money so sadly i cannot help. But i do like nokia in general, and that one looks pretty
I don’t think the N73 is out yet – apparently it’ll be released in July.
